This week marks the end of an era! Today is my last day as a Project Management Intern at Digitas North America. My MAIP experience is also coming to an end with the Face of Talent event next week. After almost three months of working 40 hour work weeks, workshops, labs, networking, and two summer project briefs. I can honestly say the thing I will miss the most about MAIP is the fellows!
I can honestly say that this MAIP experience is not comparable to any prior cohort. I have loved having 400+ besties to learn from, support, and get to know over these past few months. We weren’t all in the same place but the group chat was always on fire. As a project management intern, I have loved being the unofficial project manager of our cohort by sending reminders, encouraging messages, and bringing us together for happy hour chats.
In addition to our full-time paid internships, we have weekly maip labs and worked in groups to answer briefs given to us by different agencies for summer projects.
My group had the opportunity to work with Digitas’ Asian Untold and Thomas’ bread to create some amazing work that I am very proud of. Where our Thomas’ bread campaign was a summer project finalists. Which means my group was able to present the brief to the client. (Stay tuned to see if we win)
It’s no secret that agency life gets a bad wrap but I am amazed that my first real exposure to the advertising & marketing industry was nothing short of amazing! At Digitas, I had the ability to learn, grow and meet so many brilliant people across the agency. I am so grateful and thankful for this professional opportunity and how everyone I came in contact with at Digitas was willing to invest their wisdom, resources, and advice into an intern.
My MAIP summer and Digitas experience are definitely one for the books!
